[Canon AE-1, 50mm f/1.8, Portra 800]","author":"Candyvampi","permalink":"https://www.reddit.com/r/analog/comments/1xh1dkk/got_my_first_roll_of_film_back_canon_ae1_50mm_f18/","description":"Hey guys!!! I recently got back my first rolls of film and am super excited about the results!!  \nI shot three at the same time: the first didn’t catch and was completely blank when I turned it into the lab 🤪, the second I didn’t roll back all the way before I opened the back, but the third turned out like this! I managed to get all 36 shots back but these are my favorites.  \nI ordered a tripod as i’ve been having trouble getting the right amount of light. My hands shake a lot and I was having a really hard time balancing the shutter speed and light meter, so hopefully that will help in the future :)","caption":"A woman applies lipstick while looking at her reflection in a mirror.","score":83,"nsfw":false,"grayscale":false,"timestamp":1793127492,"created":"2026-10-28T00:01:31.598825Z","updated":"2026-10-28T00:01:31.598825Z","sprocket":false,"camera_make":"canon","camera_model":"ae-1","film_make":"kodak","film_type":"portra 800","film_speed":800,"focal_length":50,"aperture":"f/1.8","images":[{"resolution":"low","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/121910ff147607a9a265c64f-low.jpeg","width":486,"height":720},{"resolution":"medium","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/121910ff147607a9a265c64f-medium.jpeg","width":730,"height":1080},{"resolution":"high","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/121910ff147607a9a265c64f-high.jpeg","width":973,"height":1440},{"resolution":"raw","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/121910ff147607a9a265c64f-raw.jpeg","width":1228,"height":1818}],"colors":[{"hex":"#22283a","css":"midnightblue","html":"black","percent":0.2538666},{"hex":"#69594a","css":"dimgray","html":"gray","percent":0.1807556},{"hex":"#747255","css":"dimgray","html":"olive","percent":0.11646662},{"hex":"#494645","css":"darkslategray","html":"gray","percent":0.11046811},{"hex":"#c4c88e","css":"burlywood","html":"olive","percent":0.09377858}],"keywords":[{"word":"woman","weight":1},{"word":"mirror","weight":0.95},{"word":"reflection","weight":0.9},{"word":"lipstick","weight":0.85},{"word":"makeup","weight":0.8},{"word":"jewelry","weight":0.75},{"word":"earring","weight":0.7},{"word":"necklace","weight":0.65},{"word":"ring","weight":0.6},{"word":"portrait","weight":0.55},{"word":"self-portrait","weight":0.5}]}
