Infrared causes the eyes to go black, skin becomes milky white, and other materials can be highly unpredictable. Trouble is that the film and filter required can mean very slower shutter speeds and lots of difficulty with focus. After lots of experimenting, I was finally able to pull off my first infrared portraits. I'll certainly keep working at it as there is more to improve.\n\nI've included the 4th photo as a reference to what natural light would look like.","caption":"A woman with tattoos on her arms poses with her hands around her neck, in front of a wooden fence and foliage.","score":633,"nsfw":true,"grayscale":true,"timestamp":1788718474,"created":"2026-10-15T15:56:42.549933Z","updated":"2026-10-15T20:56:41.757694Z","sprocket":false,"camera_make":"plaubel","film_make":"rollei","film_type":"retro 400s","film_speed":400,"images":[{"resolution":"low","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/b5ab3fc857c77cd30496059a-low.jpeg","width":576,"height":720},{"resolution":"medium","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/b5ab3fc857c77cd30496059a-medium.jpeg","width":864,"height":1080},{"resolution":"high","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/b5ab3fc857c77cd30496059a-high.jpeg","width":1152,"height":1440},{"resolution":"raw","url":"https://i.analogdb.com/b5ab3fc857c77cd30496059a-raw.jpeg","width":2400,"height":3000}],"colors":[{"hex":"#2c2c2c","css":"darkslategray","html":"black","percent":0.16263503},{"hex":"#1a1a1a","css":"midnightblue","html":"black","percent":0.15546152},{"hex":"#434343","css":"darkslategray","html":"gray","percent":0.15344329},{"hex":"#aaaaaa","css":"darkgray","html":"gray","percent":0.14329668},{"hex":"#606060","css":"dimgray","html":"gray","percent":0.1258343}],"keywords":[{"word":"woman","weight":1},{"word":"tattoo","weight":0.9167},{"word":"portrait","weight":0.8333},{"word":"foliage","weight":0.75},{"word":"fence","weight":0.6667},{"word":"monochrome","weight":0.5833},{"word":"shadow","weight":0.5}]}
