{"id":39563,"title":"i followed a rolex thief [Leica M6 / Elmarit 28mm / Ilford XP2]","author":"ped____","permalink":"https://www.reddit.com/r/analog/comments/1vdfffa/i_followed_a_rolex_thief_leica_m6_elmarit_28mm/","description":"couple weeks ago in barcelona it was crazy\n\ndude on electric scooter snatched the rolex of a tourist who was taking a family pic\n\nthe whole family started screaming and running after him they screamed so much, like so fucking much, that suddenly everyone was aware of what was going on\n\nbro on the scooter took some narrow roads in born, and the family were still running and screaming after him during all this im running along so i can photograph whatever can happen\n\nthen suddenly the actual citizens started trying to stop the thief and within minutes they managed to knock over the scooter and some undercover police caught him\n\non one hand the amount of robbery in barcelona is outrageous. they specifically target unaware tourists. on the other, the community here is courageous as fuck and they often get involved doing things the police could be doing better\n\ni love that mark on the floor leading up to his face\n\nwhat a scene  \nthat's why i'm addicted to street photography\n\nps: after posting this on my ig and twitter, the actual police reached out to me. he loved the pic and said he's going to print it.
