I’ve been comparing manual conversions with Noritsu and Frontier results for a few years, and I’m enjoying that process even more with films like Phoenix, Red, and now Azure.\n\nI asked my lab (Analogue Wonderland in this instance) to scan my first test rolls of Azure as positives (e.g. like slide film, so the negative isn’t converted by the scanner), and again as they would normally. Using Negative Lab Pro, I then converted each frame manually — and the results are punchy and stunning.\n\nSame scanner, different conversion 🔥\n\nI’ve also included a few of the scanner conversions + unconverted negatives (blue and pink, also very cool) so you can see the difference.\n\nArlington House, Margate.
