You can see how the front of the boat blurs into the water unlike in the second image. I am hesitant to say it was motion blur as I have quite a steady hand and was using a high shutter speed. Could this just be atmospheric haze or is there something wrong with my lens. There is no point in the image that actually looks completely in focus. With the second photo the boat is clearly much more in focus even though the boat is roughly the same size in both images, so I would expect it to be of a similar sharpness. Has anyone else run into this problem. I made sure Split View in the viewfinder was 100% lined up properly in both photos when focusing. Any tips on how I can test what is causing this?
