My XA2 tended to underexposed by 2/3 of a stop so I had to set the film ISO by 2/3 stops lower. The size has made it my most used camera since I always have it on my pocket. \n\nI had already the XA so why did I get the XA2? Well for social outings and ultra quick snapshots (and to use mostly with color film while the XA mostly with B&W) and since the XA's viewfinder is super dim in low light, the XA2 was a great alternative for night use with friends. \n\nThe degree of success I've had for that specific scenario is super varied since it seems to be a coin toss whether you'll have the image in focus or not with the flash (but it gives you \"vibey\" photos haha). \n\nFor everyday use, it's quite easy to get a hang of the distances. Another point to consider is that if you are planning on using regularly the flash, your film speed selection becomes a bit limited. \n\nAlso, without the backlight compensation found in the XA, XA3 or XA4, a good portrait with the XA2 is very unlikely, which is the main reason why I would recommend to get the XA3 just for that feature alone. All in all, pretty impressed by the images from the XA2. \n\nFilms used: Pro Image, UltraMax 400, HP5 & KodaKolor 100. \n\nEnjoy and happy to answer any questions!
