{"id":36979,"title":"So how do you deal with the film diameter sensor not being accurate?","author":"light24bulbs","permalink":"https://www.reddit.com/r/SprocketShots/comments/1qtgj1n/so_how_do_you_deal_with_the_film_diameter_sensor/","description":"I printed a couple of adapters to go into my rolleicord. I know how to 3d model. I could change the diameter where it touches the sensor gear pretty easily to be the diameter of the spindle shaft/film holder spindle of a 35 mm cartridge and then at least the photos would never overlap. What I don't understand is why none of the 3D printed adapters take this into account and how everyone is getting around it. I think I'm missing something. If it was just wasting some film between shots it's not the end of the world, but this big adapter will make it do the opposite, it will make the shots overlap, especially towards the end.
