However, I feel like I need to share this with other photographers:\n\nIt appears that everything recently posted from this persons IG account (at least the last 16 photos posted in September and October) are AI generated. This person is claiming that it’s film photography. And now is claiming he’s “just cleaning up dust and scratches.” There are some film photographers/ enthusiasts commenting on it praising the photos who seem to be fooled, but I feel like it should be obvious (especially to those in the film/ photography community) that these photos are AI. Right? I can tell this person does also post real pictures sometimes, but these most recent ones from the past 2 months are definitely not real.\n\nIt’s one thing to use AI to make art (I won’t get into that), but lying, trying to pass AI images as film photography and claiming it’s an ongoing photo project about “interiors”….\n\nTo me that’s the lowest form you can take as a “photographer.”\n\nI’m sure there are many other people doing this unfortunately, but I have never stumbled upon it in my feed. So it’s been on my mind all day and I needed to share it.\n\nThe profile is public if you want to take a look. Zoom in on things. This is the first one I noticed immediately because there are 2 sinks. Once you notice that, you’ll notice other details are clearly unnatural. When you take a closer look at all the recent “photos” it starts to become very obvious. The light, the placement of objects, etc. Things don’t make sense in the frame.\n\nHas anyone seen an account like this? What do you do? Do you call it out? Ignore it?
