I wanted a point and shoot that gave me at least some manual controls. I know this camera was actually made in Japan and it is not a “real” Leica. There are clones from other brands that are surely just as good (minolta freedom escort for example). Did i got this camera because of the red dot in front? Very probably. Does that make me superficial and vain?  Maybe. Do i regret it? Not at all. This camera is a joy to use, the meter is very precise and the lens is so sharp.
