After various lenses and a ton of book stacking I managed to get a very high quality scan in my opinion. After converting the negative in a free trial of negative lab pro I achieved a result I was happy with. And with Lightroom's newer ai denoise feature I am amazed what I can do at home with what I already have.\n\nThis shot was on an overcast day btw\n\nUnfortunately I will probably not be scanning at the lab again, they do use a frontier scanner but I think they add too much contrast in their edits. I think they are also color grading orange and blue which can get obnoxious when it's too often.\n\nI wanna support local business especially in a dying industry but I can do it myself and have more control over my quality and spend less money.
