It was expired in 2006, so technically shooting it at ISO 50 should have been fine, right? Fortunately, this was a second roll from the batch and I knew that two stops of overexposure wouldn’t be enough. I shot it at ISO 12. \n\nI know I shouldn’t expect great results from expired film, but for me it is part of the excitement to shoot it. Also, I had to test a new camera. However, in my experience, that much of film degradation would be typical for roll of film expired in the 90s. Early 2000s film stocks still come out well. \n\nSome technical details. Canon EOS Rebel 2000 with Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8 lens. Developed in somewhat exhausted Cinestill c41 kit.
